WELL WATER SOLUTIONS

IRON, SULFUR AND CUSTOM SOLUTIONS FOR WELL OWNERS

Well water quality can vary from location to location and there is no rhyme or reason as to where or why these problems exist, hence the importance of conducting an official water test to determine the makeup of your well and using those results to build a custom water treatment plan, tailored to meet your specific needs. Some of the most common well water issues are hardness, iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, acidic well water (PH), turbidity, tannins and bacteria. Water Purification Solutions offers a wide variety of equipment options that utilize cutting edge technology to overcome all of the aforementioned issues with well water and provide our customers with crisp, clean and safe water. Eliminate iron staining and odors from your water for good.

There’s a simple, highly effective, and all-natural way to reduce staining in your home from minerals like iron, hydrogen sulfide, calcium, magnesium, and manganese. The best part is that Charger’s Iron Breaker III fixes the root of the problem, so you no longer are forced into chemically treating your water.

Proven Patented Technology

The Iron Breaker III uses an oxidation process to eliminate iron and H2S without chemicals, air compressors, aerators, and other complex equipment.

Optional Ozone Generator

When you add Charger’s ozone generator option, the Iron Breaker III system is automatically sanitized during the regeneration process for simple and affordable upkeep.

WQA Gold Seal

The Iron Breaker with the Fleck 2510 Control has met the Water Quality Association’s stringent requirements and has been awarded the Gold Seal. This process “ensures that the product is constructed or formulated from safe materials, that claims listed on the packaging are backed by test data, and the product will hold up under normal usage conditions.”  https://www.wqa.org/product-cert

A Natural Self-Contained Solution

The Iron Breaker III stores a “bubble” of air, compressed by your well pressure, within the media tank. As your water passes thru the air, the iron or H2S is converted to a particle which is then trapped by the catalytic filter media in the tank while the air “bubble” is gradually consumed by the passing water. When the system regenerates, the unit first “backwashes” itself, removing trapped iron particles. The system then replenishes the “air bubble” by drawing in atmosphere, temporarily emptying the tank of all water, and transferring oxygen molecules into and on the surface of the media bed where all oxidation occurs. The system then returns to the “service” position, again filtering your water.

Activated Carbon Filters

Water Purification Solutions uses only the highest quality, activated carbon in our carbon filters. There are several different types of activated carbon, including generic activated granulated carbon, catalytic carbon, carbon made from raw organic materials such as coconut shells or coal and many others.. Heat, in the absence of oxygen, is used to increase (activate) the surface area of the carbon; this is why these filters are sometimes referred to as “charcoal” filters. The activated carbon absorbs the chemicals and contaminants dissolved in the water as it passes through the carbon filter, and before it gets to your tap. Once the carbon inside the filter has reached a specified saturation level, the filter control valve automatically puts the system into backwash to cleanse the carbon granules of the absorbed contaminants and washes the waste down the drain. There are several different uses for carbon filters ranging from treating chlorine in city water, to being used as a post filter for a chlorine injection setup for water with high bacteria concentration or extreme TDS (total dissolved solids). The chemical makeup of your water will determine if a carbon filter is necessary for your particular water situation. Call today to schedule a free in home water test (813)705-4072.

Chlorine and Chemical Injection Systems

Well water composition varies significantly from location to location, and without rhyme or reason. Chemical Injection systems are very effective in extreme situations involving high iron, TDS and bacteria levels in well water. One of our typical injection setups consists of a sediment pre-filter to remove large particles from the water before it enters the contact tank, at which point a pre-determined, measured amount of chemical is injected to the correlating ration of raw water. The water and chemical then react for a specified amount of time before being passed through a carbon or other media specific post-filter, which removes the chemical left in the water before reaching your tap. Chemical injection systems are bit more involved since they require monthly maintenance but no need to worry, Water Purification Solutions has you covered with monthly maintenance plans starting as low as $39.99 a month.
